Question 1

What is Traveller?

Accepted Answer

Traveller is an AI-powered walking-route planner. Tell it how much time you have and your vibe — museums, food, hidden gems, no crowds — and it builds a sequenced walking itinerary for your city, stop by stop, with live navigation.

Question 2

Do I need an account to use Traveller?

Accepted Answer

You can browse public routes and city guides without one, but generating your own AI route, saving it, and tracking your walk requires a free account.

Question 3

Which cities does Traveller work in?

Accepted Answer

Any city with OpenStreetMap coverage — that's virtually every city worldwide. Route quality depends on how much data OpenStreetMap has for that area.

Question 4

How does the AI build my route?

Accepted Answer

It combines your time window, budget, and vibe with real places near you — museums, viewpoints, food, parks — then sequences them into a walkable route optimized for distance and opening hours.

Question 5

Can I change my route while I'm walking?

Accepted Answer

Yes — ask for a replan any time ("skip the museum, find a café instead") and Traveller regenerates the rest of your route around your current position.

Question 6

Does Traveller work without an internet connection?

Accepted Answer

Route generation needs a connection. The mobile app stores your saved routes on your phone so you can open them offline, and the web app caches map tiles you've already viewed — saving, notes and progress need a connection.

Question 7

What if it's raining or a place is closed?

Accepted Answer

Traveller builds your route around opening hours and shows live weather. While you're walking, it can replan the rest of your route if rain is coming or a place turns out to be closed.

Question 8

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Accepted Answer

Free gives you a limited number of AI route generations and saved routes. Pro removes those limits and adds multi-day trips, Photo Moments, the live AI Route Assistant, and GPX, Calendar and Google Maps export — see the Pricing page for the full list.

Question 9

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from your profile's Manage Subscription page. You'll keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Question 10

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Yes, within our refund window — see the Refund Policy for details, or contact support@travellerapp.org.

Question 11

What data does Traveller collect?

Accepted Answer

Just what's needed to plan and navigate your route: your account details, saved routes, and your location while you're actively tracking a walk. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

Question 12

Can I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

Yes, anytime, from your profile's Danger Zone. This permanently deletes your account and associated data.
